Whether she gets an elaborate gift of her dreams, or just a day to be with her children (or are those the same?!), we wish a Happy Mothers Day to all Moms, everywhere!

We are offering a slew of Mothers Day fun this Saturday!

Starting at 10am, and lasting until 2pm, we will host the Kids Potting clinic. Youngsters buy a pot and a plant, and we help them pot the flower and decorate the pot for no additional charge. Be sure to bring a paint shirt! This clinic is intended for children 2 years to 10 years old. Supervision and assistance will be available if needed - or we will leave you alone if you want some one on one time! No preregistration is required, and you are welcome to come any time between 10 and 2.

From 11 to 1pm we will offer the DeWALT Ladies Challenge. Contestants (women only) will compete at 4 stations with DeWALT cordless tools. The fastest 10 times will win prizes. The better you finish, the better your choice of prizes.  REMEMBER! Regardless of what time you compete, you must be present at 1PM to choose your prize. Anyone not present will lose their choice, and we will move to the next time in order.

We will also have a hotdog, chips, and Coke for $1 during the 11am - 1pm lunch hour. All proceeds will go to a 4H group.

Plus, our Drive-Thru Lumberyard is a resounding success. We were the first in the area to adopt this revolutionary system, which allows you to load up to 60% faster. The giant stacks of material and zooming forklifts are kept in back, out of the traffic flow, and we keep one unit of each item in the Drive-Thru, carefully laid out in order. Bulky, heavy items are near the entrance, while lighter, easily-damaged items are kept near the exit for top-loading. Plus, the Drive-Thru is staffed so that you do not have to wander around looking for an item. We will meet you at the door, direct you to the product you need, and help you load it.

Starting at 2pm, our expert will show you the basics on installing, operating, and maintaining an underground sprinkler system. This is a very popular clinic, so be sure to arrive early for the best view.



On Saturday, May 10, we will be honoring Mom!

The day before Mother's Day, we will be holding our annual DeWALT Ladies Challenge from 11am - 1pm, and we'll offer a kids' potting clinic from 10am til 2pm.

The DeWALT Ladies Challenge is a women only, 4-station cordless tool contest. Entrants will use a cordless drill, circular saw, reciprocating saw, and flashlight at real-world stations. Fastest times will receive their choice of tools, Builders gift cards, or Salon Allure gift cards.

The kids' potting clinic lets kids decorate a pot, then pick out and plant a flower for a great Mother's Day gift. The only fee involved is the purchase of the pot and the plant; soil and decorations are free. Be sure to bring a paint shirt! No registration is required this year; you are free to come any time between 10am and 2pm and the children can work at theor own pace.

A hotdog lunch will be available from 11 til 1 as well. Get a hotdog, chips, and a drink for just $1, and all proceeds will go to charity.
